Hey There-
After Finally reicieving everything from NEWEGG.com, I was ready to build The/My system which would eventually be the "Backbone" of my entire business infrastucture.
Great......Powersupply is "DOA", So I go down to FRY's Electronics just to make sure it's not my MOBO/CPU....Good news it's not...the mobo/CPU did a POST...HURRAY! Now I'm a little nervous and here's why.
I've read that within hours of applying ARTIC SILVER, or any other thermal grease/compound you need to "FIRE UP YOUR SYSTEM".....for maximum results. I'm now waiting on NEWEGG to send me another case w/ powersupply....so obviously I can't "FIRE UP", my system. Does Anyone know if it's okay to simply let the "CPU/MOBO", sit for a couple days...or should I take off the "Heatsink/FAN', and clean off both CPU/Heatsink W/ rubbing alchiol, and then re apply. I really don't want to for fear I might bend the pins, on my CPU rendering it completly useless.
Thanks,

Note the key word, "maximum". :)

Again, "maximum" -- you'll be fine.

(and the difference between maximum and not-so-maximum is like 3ºC .. whoopee :P)
