Should i slap on some AS5?

I think i just asked and some people told me no

I got about half a tube (3.5g)

Should i replace the zalman stuff? with the zalman paste, idle: 28*c and with a 100% 1 1/2hour Orthos load it stays around 50*c... im thinking i shouldn't fool with it?

just leave it it isnt doing you any harm and it works fine right

Yeah, the Zalman stuff never hurt no body, Zalman's a good boy lol.

But really just leave it alone I reckon.

am i the only one that thought is said ASS instead of AS5? the thread title weirded me out a bit.

It's not worth removing the heatsink and replacing the thermal paste, the only time I would recommend using it is if you first install the CPU, since it wont take much extra time to replace it with AS5. But tests have shown that the difference is only a few degrees C at best.

When did you apply the Zalman TP? It may already be time to change it out...

When i built it... 1st of July i think. So not even two months ago.
