Should I update my GPU?

I currently have a Gigabyte 1GB 5870 not the overcloocked one and I was wondering woul it be a smart idea to upgrade to a the XFX 2GB 6950?
 
nah not really, there isnt a phenomenal difference in specs...unless u wanna overclock 6950, but really save ur money for something else
 
If you were going to upgrade from a 5870 to anything I'd suggest something like a 7870 or a 7950, there would be a difference there. The 6950 is faster than a 5870 though, you can see the benchmarks here. There is a bigger difference between the 5870 and the 7950 though, see here.
 
no but just for in the future if i need the extra power because i dont know if im going to cross fire 5870s or if im just to hold off for a while and then grab a 7970 it never hurts to have to much power and lately ive become a huge xfx fan if dont get the 850w then im going to get there 750w 80plus silver and the price difference is $140 to $155 the extra 15 bucks for an extra 100 watts from a good brand is not bad for the money at all. like i said to much never hurts in a Psu :)

yeah, good point, but if it's like 5 bucks more i'd prob take a 750w modular unless those are the modular ones.
