Side case fan

I bought this 200mm side case fan for my new pc but the power connecter to my gpu points towards to side panel which leaves me very little room for any fan to fit. Also my cpu fan is close as well, but not as close as my gpu connector. My side case has many holes, but I'm curious of there is a super ultra thin fan or if people have found other option. Could you run a smaller fan and just screw it in somewhat since ot won't line up well? Just curious as I would like to take advantage of this airflow.

I have the evga gtx 1080 ftw. That thing still looks like it would still take up space next to the side wall.
