Silly question

If your graphics card has some sort of exhaust on it then yeah you might want to remove the pci plate, If not then i wouldnt bother.
 
sometimes. if you have sli i think they recommend it, but yea i leave backplates open sometimes. i guess it depends on the mood you're in... hahaha
 
well it would be depending on the airflow in your case. If you have more outtack CFM then intake CFM then it would move some air threw PCI slot.
