Simple Keyboard problem

Hello to all.
I have a Sony laptop.all of things are really good.
but several days ago when I turn on my laptop and start to type my document I saw that several keys on my keyboard
has not work normally.for example when I push 'M' button on keyboard then the number Zero(0) was typed.
several another keys have the same problem.
Is this a software problem?
Is there exist setting in windows vista that change keyboard character?
please help me.

you want to turn numlock off this might need to be done by pressing "fn>numlock" or just hitting numlock but yea the reason the 0 is poping up is because numlock is on
