are you looking for a mobile processor, a 64-bit processor, a dual core processor....how much RAM, hard drive, and battery life, and exactly how light are we talking?

personally i like really small compact laptops with like 14 inch screen, because that, to me, is mobile, its light, small, and very portable

i have a 64 bit turion mobile processor @ 1.6Ghz with 800 fsb, a meg of L2 cache, 768 RAM, 60 gig hard drive, dual layer dvd burner, 12 cell lithium ion battery, ATI express 200m graphics and an ultrabrite XWGA 14" display, all for only 950 bucks, at circuit city, you could then have extra money to upgrade the RAM to 2 gigs, and the hard drive?.....just an opinion

just because the price is not 2000 doesn't mean cheap(quality and speed). you have no specifications what so ever. what do you plan to do with this laptop?

The W3V will do that for u, but if u don't want to pay for the extra preformance that the w3v has, go for a nice 700M or a DV1000

hmmm your 14. what kinda biz you gonna do on it? anyways the asus that x24 suggest is kind of bulky. however the last two laptops he suggested would suit you very nicely.
