Simpliest solution???

Gateway G6-300 desktop, 45GB, 192mb Windows 98. Having so much trouble, basicacilly crashed. Wanting to remove everything from both hard drives(40-5) and reinstall 98 or newer version. What will I need(cds,floppys,?), and what is the simpliest way to do so. What OS recommended?

reformat the hardrives...you'll need the windows 98 or w/e OS you want,floppy or cd(w/e you got it in) and just say to boot up from either the floppy drive(if its floppy version), or cd drive(if you have the CD version). just do a search on how to reformat for more detailed info on how to do it.
