Sims 2 card (again)

A while ago i was looking into PCI cards for someone who wanted a card to play Sims 2. At the time, i was under the impression that she needed a PCI card, until just recently, i realized she had an AGP slot.
Looking into cards again, i found this:

Would this card run Sims 2 laglessly? (with expansions)

the sims isnt a very demanding game anyway,I used to run it on intergrated graphics lol.

Me too but it was slow anyway raoul_1101 the 7600GT 512mb will do the trick but if she records movies tell her not to put the smooth edges on more and record with everything on high because I have an 8800ULTRA and I get 15fps if I record and thats on Quad Q6600 4gig ram and Vista ultimate 32bit.

Just to make sure youre answering what I'm saying, is that this card will support Sims 2 no porb... Even on the highest settings?


And why would the video playback be slower than the actuall gameplay?

I think he means recording the screen as he's playing, not sure though.

7600GT will handle it fine on max settings, especially the 512 version.
