SiS 740 driver...

I need help finding a SiS 740 graphics adapter driver that uses only 4mb of memory for video...or is there a way to make the current driver use less...plz help.

"The frame buffer size can be allocated from 8MB to 64MB." -thats what it says about the SiS 740 on the SiS website...and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to change the frame buffer size to 8mb.

Shouldnt windows have a driver for it?

You'll need to go into BIOS and set that. Has nothign to do with the drivers. I doubt you';ll be able to get 4MB tho

Jump into BIOS and look around for AGP Memory or Video Memory or something Change that to 8MB
