Six dead hard drives in one year.

I just lost number 5 and 6 today. Can my motherboard be killing my drives? drive 5 has over 20 errors found in seagate tools. The 6th drive shows up as 500gb unformatted drive in the enclosure and bios wont see it at POST. I only have one motherboard with SATA connector.

what am i supposed to do?

Definitely sounds fishy. Are they all the same model? I've seen reviews on Newegg that definitely indicate some models of hard drives that have a high failure rate.

it does indeed sound looke too much/little power. Anything can cause HDD failure, including excessive use and throwing it against walls when it makes annyoing noises for too long.
ugh, it's 3:30am where i am. I'm bored.
