Skype and group calling with family

Do it with family once in a while on individual basis. Would like to try group calling next. Brothers mostly. Im having trouble sorting it out. Do i have to purchase a premium account to do this. A monthly fee won't work because we do not do it often enough. This is something occasional for maybe planning a fishing trip.

Group voice calls are free, group video calls are not. If you want to do a group video call and want to do it for free, try Google Hangouts.

i don't want to change it. I will have to explain how to everybody. We have skype working one on one. So question is can i buy group calling for say 1 day with skype?
then just buy a day as needed.

It says on their website you can buy a day pass to try out the premium features. I'm not sure how many times you can try it but if it's limited then you'll need to get a premium account afterwards.

gonna try the google hangouts one time with family. the $10.00 a month won't work. Doubt if it would be used 3 times a year. thanks for the suggestion Lucas.

The only issue with Hangouts is the plugin can be wonky with anything other than Chrome. I ended up installing Chrome and only use it for Hangouts.
