Slave question.

If I am using an IDEE cable my hard drive would be the master drive so should I set both my dvd drive and dvd burner to slave or should one of those drive be set to master because they are a different kind of drive?

Each ide slot is different. On each ide slot there should be one master, adn one slave. Get it? So if you have a cd drive and a hdd on the same ide calbe, set the hdd to master, and the cd drive to slave. If that doesnt work, set the cd drive to master also.

It really doesnt matter which way your IDE cables are hooked up, as long as the computer recognises the IDE setup
