i bought a sleeving kit from xoxide but it didnt come with any instructions so ive got tons of questions:
is it that easy that i wouldnt need the instructions?
how is it done? would i have to take out the molex's? is it easy to take them out and put them back?
and how does the heatshrink tubing work?

To tell you the truth, it's a pain in the ASS. I bought a kit once, and then I went online for a guide, and I just dumped the project because it's not worth it to me.

Bascially, you have to get a molex remover, remove those then feed the wires through the tubs, then put the molex back on, put the rubber sleeving over the molex, and kind of, melt it onto the molex using a lighter(zippo kind) or mini torch. Times that by like 15 then your done.

Google it for more info, but I'm you need to be very dedicated for this job.

Heatshrink tubing can be melted best with a heat gun or a hot hair dryer. Using an open flame is much more difficult because it is very easy to apply too much heat to the tubing and melt it apart. I have had some luck with hair dryers and very good luck with a heat gun.

oh dang i thought it would be quick and easy. i was planing to do this after skool hopefully only taking a few hours. so ill just do this on the weekend.

do any of you know of a good guide with lots of pictures?
