sli compatability

In my system now I currently have a PNY graphics card, I'm no purchasing a new EVGA GeForce GTX 460. I'm curious as to if I will be able to SLI the two video cards, or if they need to be the same brand?
 
as long as its another 460 with the same amount of memory you are fine, considering your not running an amd chipset motherboard that is. AMD series boards cannot SLI.
 
Alright thank you, ill have to check that out before I purchase it, I know it has the same memory but not sure if the PNY card is a 460 or not.
