sli compatibility?

hi,

my desktop have a nvidia nForce 430 mobo, and i already have overclocked geforce 8600 gt for grapic. now i am hoping to get more performance for gaming but dont want to spend more than $100. so is it a good idea to get another geforce 8600 gt to sli or if my mobo is not good for sli? can i get a better graphic card for under $100?
 
What kind of power supply are you running? An 8600gt wouldnt be that great in sli...you would be better off with something such as a 9800gt/gtx or an HD4850.
