Hi im new to this site and sorry if it has already been posted but is it possible to put these 2 cards together in Sli/Crossfire mode:

1x GeCube ATi Radeon X1900XTX
1x Asus ATi Radeon X1900XT

if its not possible does any one know where i can get another GeCube X1900XTX from cause i cant find them anywhere. I live in Melbourne

Thank you in advance

get an 8800gtx. its better.
or an 8800gts.
theyre dx10 ready and they perform better per watt too.
and you also dont need a pricey crossfire motherboard.

you can put 2 different cars in crossfire, but the XTX would downclock to an XT tough (unless you overclock the XT to XTX speeds ofc :) )
But,. im no expert on Crossfire or so , but dont you need a master and a slave card for crossfire? I think the 'masters'are the crossfire edition cards, and the 'slaves' are the normal cards, wich are hooked up to it.

ehh sort of.
if the second card is worse then the crossfire card would downclock i believe.

here are a few guidelines i guess.

It has to be the Crossfire edition card, not the "crossfire ready" card.

Crossfire ready just means that it's a normal card that can run crossfire, you'll need a special crossfire edition card.
