Yeah but can you apply that to all SLI RAM?

Yes, "SLi RAM" provides EPP support with nVidia motherboard chipsets. It's suppose to make OC'ing easier, although I believe it's more of a marketing gimmick. Never had any success using EPP w/ my 680i...

SLI RAM is primarily a marketing gimmick, NVIDIA likes calling EPP-RAM "SLi certified" for some reason (probably something to do with the fact that 1) SLI is NVIDIA and/or 2)NVIDIA likes making graphics cards)... I can't see its relevance to SLI (or any multi-GPU setup for that matter), as some people have said it's just a merketing gimmick.

NVIDIA's name for EPP memory that has been qualified for performance and stability is "SLi-ready memory".

Right, there is no relevance. Therein lies the marketing gimmick. Yes, folks, we're all mindless consumers and we'll buy anything with fancy catch labels. :P

Ha, I bought two Ultras and that was the worst purchasing decision I've made with PC components. Should've kept the GTXes, although I got 80% back through sales on eBay. :D
