I'm also sick, so if I forget needed details, I'm sorry!
Basically, I've had these two cards (eVGA 7900GT) since August, and up until recently I've had no problems with them. A few weeks ago I completely wiped my hard drive using Darik's Boot and Nuke, and reinstalled XP. Now I'm having troubles with low frame rates and horrible gaming, and I've never had any of these problems before.
I've tried multiple new drivers, including nVidia drivers aswell as tweaked drivers by a few sites. With all of these drivers I'm having the same problems:
Low frame rates (COD2 at 30FPS, I'm sure Oblivion is running much lower than that, and around 25FPS in FEAR. COD2 used to run at about 60FPS, Oblivion at 45FPS, and FEAR at around the same as Oblivion.)
Artifacting. I've only seen it in Call of Duty, but it makes the game unplayable about two or three minuets into a game.
Mouse tracking problems, but I'm sure that's just due to the lower frame rates.
I've checked both cards, they're in snuggly and the SLI bridge is connected to both cards. Temps are normal (around 35C idle). I still have yet to go check the BIOS to see if the cards are "underclocked" or something, but I didn't make any changes so I don't see how that would work.
If anyone's got any ideas of what to do to fix the problems, I'd be greatly appreciative!
