Slow ADSL?

I have a 1500 ADSL Connection on a Alcatel Speedtouch 530 router. While Im surfing I experience decent speed, but when I download anything I get slow speeds. I get around 150Kbs but it often drops below 90Kbs what is a decent speed with a 1500 conection and does anyone know how to improve my speeds?

who are you downloading from...music. websites...it all depends on there up loading speed.

I download from everywere. 150 is my average speed. What is a good or high speed to get with my connection
