slow delete key problem?

so I just bought a computerm decent specs for a guy, when Outlook express is open ( and ONLY only outlook has this problem) the delete and backspace keys are really slow. not the repeate rates and stuff. Just when you try and delete something. any ideas? other programs the button works fine

defragg, it seems like the computer cant handle outlook

it has a gig of ram and a amd 64bit 3200... I know it can handle it.. its got plunty of resources left, plus its brand new. its been defraged and all that. It must be somethis wit hthe copy of Outlook

it could be the reaction speed of the keyboard. or it could be because there are no keyboard drivers.
