Slow, I mean Slow computer

My system keeps getting slower and slower. It takes 30 seconds or more to switch email messages. Browsing on firefox is slow. I ran cccleaner and here are my hijachthis log and malwarebytes log.

Any ideas?

Don't see anything that may be causing your issue. Have you installed any new hardware/software/windows updates right before the slowness occured?

no new stuff. The usual window updates. It just keeps running slower and slower

with ccleaner, besides running the actual cleaner, did you run the registry scanner as well? also, go under tools, to start up programs and disable all the programs that you doing need loading every time you turn on the computer, though, don't disable something if you don't know what it is. If all else fails, a simple re-format will bring it up to speed.

You must have done something if your computer works slow all of a sudden because it cannot happen by itself unless if the DMA mode has switched to PIO mode for some reason.

Are you by any chance surf the internet without the antivirus program turned on?
Note that the antivirus program must be a good one and also all its settings must be adjusted properly otherwise there is no point if you have it turned on while surfing the internet...

If nothing of the above works, then I would suggest to run a harddrive test if this suddenly happened and if it's reeaally slow.

Do you have HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability in the BIOS?
If yes,turn it on and it might tell you if your HDD is going bad or not.

By the way...back up ALL your important data NOW!!!
You never know what can happen in the next minute

You can also check with your ISP to see if you have any issues with them?

Could be a couple of things... Your computer could be overheating, if so clean all dust from it, especially the cooling fans.
You could also have a severely fragmented hard-drive, in which case i'd recommend downloading a free of diskeeper as they are the best. I'd also recommend deleting as much junk as possible.
