Slow Laptop, Please Help!

My Gateway laptop with centrino Duo works great for 2 or 3 hours and then just works very slow or stops working altogether. Do I need more ram? What is up?

Lol, that doesn't matter, if the ventilation/fans are clogged there is no cool air getting in the machine and it's going to be like an oven in there, just like any other computer.

dude - my old laptop overheated in a few months. It had a LOT of dust inside it. How much ram does it have? Google says only one gig, and it has integrated graphics.

Like, CPU speed, RAM..... hard drive etc.....
