View attachment 7610 Untitled1.png I'm encountering problem with my old pc, I'm not good in fixing computer that's i got here and ask for your help...we bought this pc last 4 years and even though i play the same game this time it run slow sometimes it force shut down.
this time I play dota2 and dragon nest which are heavy to run, I just need your advice or suggestion in what are the things i need to upgrade or add in my hardwares.

in my system information
Processor: AMD A6-3500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.10 GHz
RAM: 4Gb
System Type: 64bit OS

You say it's slower than it used to be.
Check for some unnecessary background programs and remove them.
Might also be a heating issue. What are your GPU and CPU temps when gaming?

About upgrading:
I wound't upgrade it. I would buy a new computer.
The CPU (processor) support is limited because it's an older socket (The place where you install the CPU).
You might find a A8-3870k used somewhere on the cheap, but even that isn't gonna make a big difference.
The GPU (graphic card) is also old... and bad. Even when it got released.

So you would have to buy a new motherboard, new CPU and new GPU.
A new set of RAM would also be highly recommended, and because of those upgrades you might also need a new PSU.
Trust me, just buy a new computer

I can also see you are running a 768p resolution on your monitor. Why? Is that's it's native resolution? God i hope not.
If so, a new monitor is desperately needed too.

thank you for your response, you got a point about buying a new computer rather than those parts.
I'm just wondering If i buy a new computer, what is the recommended info about the hardwares for running the games we play today
so i won't encounter poor running pc again.

Im happy to know something about the problem of my computer from you.

You have a low resolution monitor. I would suggest that you upgrade to a 1080P or higher monitor, keeping in mind that for 1440P/4K resolutions you need a lot of graphics horsepower.

For a good gaming PC these days I recommend the following:

Intel i5 6600K
ASUS Z170-A motherboard
2X8GB DDR4 3000
250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD
1TB Western Digital Blue HDD
Corsair 400C or 600C or 200R or 350D or 760T or antec P100/P180/P280 (or any other case you like but those are my favs)
Seasonic SSR-G-550W gold rated power supply
Geforce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD RX 480 4GB graphics card (for 1080P)
or
Geforce GTX 1070 or 1080 8GB graphics card (for 1440P)
or
Geforce GTX 1080 8GB x 2 (two cards) for 4K resolution.

If you're going with the 1070 or 1080 or 1080X2 it makes more sense to go with the 6700K processor, or maybe even consider going with X99 and a 6800K if running 2 1080s so you don't limit the cards to 8 PCIE lanes each.l

a GTX 1080 can run 4k games constantly around the 60fps mark. Really don't need 2.

@Lloydeeeyyy, if you're looking at a new computer, it really depends on how much you want to spend or what sort of performance you would like and we can look at how much it'll cost.

thank you Intel_man for your response, The kind of computer I'm looking for is just like the computers in the internet shops that runs online games smoothly.
I'm not looking for a fancy computers like other people have, just a computer like in the internet shop will do as long as it runs smoothly.

About the price:
I just want to know the price of a computer for us to know if we can afford it and start saving money :)

hello mistersprinkles, thank you for your help :) I will add this things on my list for me to have a guide on purchasing computer hardwares

Ya but if you want 120Hz in a lot of titles for G sync gaming the dual 1080s is where its at.

Do you have a list of games that you either have or are interested in playing once you hypothetically say bought the computer that can run it?

Also, what sort of computer peripherals are you planning on carrying over to the new computer? (ie. 24" 1080p monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse...etc.) If you can, try to provide the model number or resolution of the monitor at the minimum.

Or if you have something in mind such as "I was looking at those 27" 1080p 144hz monitors with G-Sync", "I was planning on playing games with those 144hz 1440p monitors", etc... do let us know. But if you just plan on playing your games at 1920x1080 resolution with a 60hz refresh rate monitor, then that's ok too. The more information you provide on what you want from a computer, the better we can find the parts to suit your needs and wallet.

I understand that you're willing to save up towards it if the cost of the computer will be too much for you right now, but to get things started, what were you expecting to spend right now or are willing to spend towards this purchase? Answer everything above this question first though.

sigh... let's do some math first. 4k 120hz GSYNC monitors go for $1300. Dual GTX 1080s will run him another $1200. That's $2500 alone in just video cards and a monitor.

The games I usually play in this computer are FIFA12, AC4- BLACK FLAG, COD MWF3. I also tried running dragon nest and dota 2 but that was last year and it runs well in low resolution but now that i install it again it works really bad.

I'm not looking for new speakers , keyboard & mouse(normal keyboard & mouse will do)
but about the monitor, i don't know what resolution is good for today as long as its better than our current monitor
with 1366 x 768(recommended) resolution.

Honestly, despite what all the new hype says.. there is nothing wrong with 1080p 60hz gaming and a nice fast monitor. Gaming in 4K at proper frame rates require a heavy investment into components both in the PC and the monitor itself.

I have a 4K Asus monitor and a 1080GTX graphics card and the amount spent on both could have built a full seperate tower. The worst part, I don't even use either GPU or monitor to their potential.

I found that 2560x1440 is the sweet spot for me, and the games I play, and if I were to re-buy the monitor, I wouldn't have bothered with a 4K capable display - I just don't use it and don't like the sacrificed performance to try to do 3840x2160 regularly for games.
