Slow start up help

Is someone willing to communicate back and forth with me and help me to go through some things to help me make my laptop start up faster? Right now it is very slow starting up, and is getting annoying, and im not that familiar with vista.

Microsoft Bootvis - Should help. Just install, go to Trace>Optimize System, and it will restart itself, a box will pop up after you log on again and it will optimize your startup process.

If you need more help, Google "startup editor" or something along those lines and remove unnecessary startup items.
