smaller size agp card?

Hey guys,

I have a compaq desktop that has a slot for an agp card. The only problem is that the compaq is so small! When i put a video card in it, the card stands so tall i'd have no chance in putting the case back on. I was wondering if they make smaller agp cards for this, and if so, what are they called? Thanks in advance for any help!

umm not quite. I know its weird having an agp slot but not being able to fit a card in it.. the pci slots are horizontal, so it wouldn't fit. Thank you apj101 for trying though :)

what you need to do is look for a low profile profile graphics card, i beleive there were some nvidia fx 5x00 and ATI 9x00 series cards made.
try a google search and see what you come up with
 
hes right, some of the older nVidia and ATI cards arnt as big as the ones now, they look more like modem or network cards.
 
wow, those are exactly what im looking for. I would buy a new case apj101, but its a compaq and everythings made to fit snug in it. Yes it's a Compaq with a 'special' case but if you get a full/mid ATX tower it will still fit
