SMB file sharing on D-link 3780

Hi all,
I switched over to talk talk broadband and was given D-link 3780. This router is little but more advance compared to my previous router. This new router has a USB port which allows to plug a USB drive and file share. Plus other options like DLNA and UPNP etc.

These services are working great internally but I would like to extend this file sharing over the internet. I would like to obtain the files and upload files from anywhere.

I'm not sure where else to look to make it available from public ip?
Is this possible with this this router?

I looked everywhere and can't find a solution. I think this is using Samba which is Windows driven only.
