smoking around computers

im a smoker and my friend told me that smoke is bad for the computer. is that true?

LOL...well smoke is bad for you in the first place . Anyway, the smoke makes a thin coating of gunk on your PC components. In the long run, that could mean problems but since the majority of pc components are enameled, then I would not worry that much.

I would clean out your heatsink/fans every once in a while. Or, just quit smoking alltogether!

Now that I think about it, I should have said that smoking kills your pc. Maybe then people would think about what they are doing more.
