I didn't get to quite read the entire thing because the the bottom it it said "dumping physical memory to disk" [or something like that] 5% - so I was like no, then held the power button on my computer to shut it down quickly. But what I did read was it saying something about "If this is the first time you've seen this message, restart your computer - if this screen persists, disconnect any newly installed hardware - disable disk caching etc etc". The only two things that were newly installed was another hard drive [which I disconnected a few weeks ago], and a memory card reader [which I don't see that causing my OS to fail]. Anybody have any idea what this screen is? And what this screen tells me about my computer.
So a blue screen popped up while I was sorting through some files.

This is the exact screen that popped up. Except when I powered off my computer and turned it back on, it didn't go back to the blue screen.

The easiest thing to do would be this. Sounds like you have a driver problem.

I had a similar problem with my dell about a year ago. Its a pain but fixable.
It makes me sick to be on youtube an see a long list of related videos that are all BSOD. uuuughh!

Since I have another drive with Windows 7 loaded on it [disconnected at the moment, and completely stock (have yet to transfer all of my files/programs and stuff)]. Will I have the same problem on that drive if I don't do the repair install on this current drive? I've mentioned in another thread that I plan on just leaving this drive installed, but almost unused, only booted up when I need to open an older recording session or something. So won't be touched much, but it'll still be installed while I'm using my new drive as my main. Just wanna make sure that the new main drive should be good.
