Im soo glad no my dad did spend like £300 - £400 pounds to insure my computer for 5 years. Sooo many faults are comingout now. Here is a list of what I can think of of the top of my head (going to send computer in for fixing after christmas (time to get rid of porn lol) ). ;-
- Remote control does not work
- Radio no longer works
- Occasionaly on boot up there is a grinding/rattling noise for about 3 min
- On boot up computer freezes for about 2 min on "Pentium 4 screen"
- Computer runs at very high temperature 50degrees idle and over 80 under load.
- Just generaly very sluggish these days (probs just due to amount of crappy programmes running)

Has anyone experienced such problems and know how to counter them??. BTW my computer is only like 5 months old maximum and first thing to go was remote after like 3 weeks lol.

your warranty will only cover parts and labor, it will not cover any software issues such as viruses/spyware/adware...that is your own responsibility

I dont have spywear issues though, I got 2 spywear and 1 anti virus programmes running at all times. Ontop of that I have a firewall, ohh and a start up monitor, so any programme that thries to register itself to start up will be detected and I have to say yes or no to allow it.

So I think I am covered for all I have said (well except last point but I wouldnt expect to be covered for that lol)

Do you actually scan for spyware? Because don't say you don't have any unless you've checked as many will sneak by those programs.

I scan like 3 times a week. Also microsoft antispywear has 59 checkpoints running at all times. Spybot, I have "imunized" my computer so I gues its along the same lines. Then I have norton antivirus, and the bogstandard windows firewall, and startup mechanic. All these and a scan on all around 3 times a week I think keep my computer healthy.
