So I got my Radeon X800 gto today

But there doesn't seem to be much of an improvement over my Radeon 9550(!). In World of Warcraft, my average FPS was about 10-15, and now with the X800 it's about 15-30.

Am I missing something here?

I spent £120 on this, I'm not impressed .

Thats really weird, have you run a benchmark to see if theres an improvement?

Just tried to, but it doesn't work anymore. It loads the demo, but then just goes to a black screen and stays there.

At least it worked with my 9550.

Make sure you plugged it into the power supply (If this card needs it). The same thing happened when I let my little brother install his 6600GT by him self.

I've plugged it into the same power lead as the CD drive and floppy drive. Would it matter where I plugged it into?

Goddamnit this is OUTRAGEOUS!

In WoW, if I come across a group of people the FPS goes to below 3. I NEVER had this problem with my 9550.
