so i have a dual core phenom 2 x4? WTH

my comp is only reading 2 of my 4 cores. the device manager is the only instance where the 4 come up, but dxdiag says 2 cores, task manager says core 0 and 1, but the computer reads it as a phenom 2 920 x4

newest bios version, just downloaded the newest chipset drivers. whats going on?

had that shut off awhile ago

btw its overclocked 7% to 3.0ghz if that makes a difference. when i had it stock clocked it still didnt read all 4

gah it was a stupid windows issue.

went to msconfig, "boot" tab, advanced options, and unchecked the "number of processors" box. it worked

hope anyone else going through the same issue reads this
