im guessing you're not running 3dmark05. if you were running 05 i'd expect a score of between 3500 and 4000, although it is possible to get a bit higher with cpu overclocking and video overclocking

What!?! where did you get that? most people get around 4000, but if you have any sort of 7800 gfx card or sli, you can get into the 12000s

sorry bout that...lol...I was mainly asking you where you got the thing about 3500-4000 points, with a little more if you overclocked.

everyone that i've seen running a 6600gt managed to get 3dmark05 scores within that range. jancz3rt is past 4000 with an overclocked system.

IT IS 3D Mark 2001....
Hehe cuz if it was 03 or 05 id be very surprised :P

what's decent for 03?
Dont put too much weight into 03 ;)

Can I ask wht the hell these scores actualy mean?. Are they a measurment of anything, or does the programme test your computers capabilities, then like just give it a score so you can directly compare two computers??
Sounds like you just answered your own question

you should be able to run the benchmark, it might look jittery buts its designed to push your system hard
Bah, Prime95, S&M, CCE encoding, some custom chemistry benchmarks ive got ... THOSE push yer system hard :P
