So, Like, are the 8800 gt's going to stay in stock now?

I noticed that newegg has the EVGA 8800 gt in stock now, and it went down
$20. It's been there for several days, but the other brands are out of stock.
Is it still the situation that I need to grab one any time I can?

I have to wait a whole week until my next paycheck.....

Hard to say. The GTs are so popular because the performance is good yet the price isn't too bad. If you have to wait anyway, don't worry about it then.

yeah I saw that.. Oh well, in a week I'll check to see what's available and
at what price, but I feel like Nvidia is playing games with us measly
buyers.

Eh, in a week you'll probably see more back in stock. If you're not absolutely set on the best of deals, there's less of a problem, Newegg seems to have a multitude of brands in stock, for just 20 bones or so more.
