Socket A with SSE2

I've looked around and haven't been able to find a Socket A CPU with SSE2 or SSE3. Is there one? Thanks!

nope, sse2 started with pent 4 in 2001, and amd didn't make sse2 chips until the socket 754 athlon and sempron 64s

Pretty sure with Athlon XP all it had was MMX-3DNow and SSE

My socket A sempron only had MMX-3DNow and SSE ,I also wanted to run Osx

That's what I want to do too. I guess I'll just have to hope that the Qemu project that some folks over at InsanelyMac are working on will work for me ( http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=38763 )

I don't think socket A cpu's have SSE2 and SSE3 instructions..
theyre kinda old

i feel sorry for you Irishwhistle,I know how ya feel.

i was realy peed off with Xp and wanted to go OSX but no SSE2 on my old rig.

i could now if i wanted to but im sticking with Vista for now
