Hello all I am new here. Looks like a nice forum.
I was told by the Geek Squad at Best Buy that the memory I was getting ready to buy would work in my laptop. I went ahead and bought it. I came home and installed the two 512mb pc2700 sodimms in my Vaio notebook. I rebooted and it started ok. But after just a few mins it flashed a blue screen really fast and shut down. I could reboot and after a few mins same deal. The system info screen showed that it could see the 1024. Now my thinking is that the speed is the issue. I have never overclocked anything...the factory sodimms were pc2100....So long story short...How can I get the 2700 to run where the 2100 was before....
