I recently purchased a new HP desktop with Windows Vista Home Premium installed. I have a lot of games from my old computer that I would like to install on it if possible, but the requirements for them are Windows 2000/XP. Is it possible to install older software with a newer operating system? If so, would it run properly? Any info is appreciated.

Most games should install on vista just fine. However you may need to use compatibility settings on some games.

Yes ….It is it possible to install older software with a newer operating system easily. If you want to install the previous software then you can do easily. Because the operating system Xp and the Vista supporting the same files easily....There is only some graphical difference or changes only.
