Software Backup

I am trying to backup some of my software games. I used the download application '5star Game Copy' to make an image of a two-disc game. The images were saved in an 'XMD File' format that my computer does not recognize. Any way to convert this file to make it readable? Or does anyone have an easier technique for making backup copies of software? Any help is appreciated!

Using software such as 5star Game Copy is actually illegal, as it breaks copy protection technologies built into the disks. Regardless of whether it's for personal use or not, it's not something that can be talked about in this forum.

In my opinion, you should use VirtualDrive or Alcohol 120%. These are two powerful softwares to make an image of a folder or a CD, DVD.
Especially, Alcohol 120% can make an Image from a protected CD, DVD (CD, DVD have a licenced).
