Software for video editing

Greetings.

i have a 5-year-old DXG, 3.0 megapixel digital video camera and the videos usually turn out o.k. to good if the lighting is proper.

Does anyone know of any FREE and SAFE online video editing software that would help me turn some of my very dark videos lighter so I could properly view them?

Any help would be appreciated.

If nobody can provide recommendations of software they've used, Google "online video editing free" no quotes. Here's one "10 Best" link.

Nothing online is truly safe - you only need one disgruntled worker at the service you are using.......

Camtasia is the best software for video editing.
That's quite a bold statement. If you are looking for something that is online or free, it's totally useless. "Best" is only meaningful if you say what it's best for. It's very expensive and seems to be aimed more at the presentation market.

I don't think there is any good free video editing software but the best, in my opinion is Wax. The Interface looks old but it has a lot of features. With the little experience I had with Wax, its quite hard to use. But im not that good with that kind of software. You can find the website here.

Tyster was asking for online video editing. Whether standard video editing was OK was not made clear. If you only have access to a PC you cannot install software on.....

I was curious if PCs in public libraries allow software installation. Seems some do and on reboot the PC reverts to the original config.

jaycut.com ? The only problem I can see id that you cannot return to your results at a later time, so it would be fine if your editing it all in one go
