Software Overclocking.

Hi guys, today i'd like to try some overclocking...however my bios has no options because its a branded system. Anybody have some overclocking software, or know of any that will let you save the clocks so they apply on startup?

I was hoping to go around 200mhz overclock to 2.86ghz for some extra performance, but i only have stock cooling. I can, however, always have the cpu fan on 100%, it isn't that loud and it keeps the heat down about 5C more than usual.

200mhz isnt gonna make a whole lotta difference on an old cpu like a P4, but to each his own..
 
Maybe i'm just dumb, but when i click on PLL Setup I'm meant to choose something from the drop menu? When i click read clocks (it selects "not specified", if i choose anything else it doesnt show anything) it shows me this:

---00 01 02 03 04 05 06
00 BB 87 7F C7 3F 00 FF

What does that mean?
When i click PLL Control, i get some blank speedo's.
 
if you're worried about performance, buy a new computer.

there are a lot more factors to your overall performance that would make your entire experience with a PC better. i find i like hard drive speed, and shorter loading screens, so i set up a raid 0 array... cheap but good performance increase.
