Software to change *.avi sound volume

Is there some kind of software with which I can raise the volume of a .avi file? I could do it with WMM, but I'd have to do it on all of the x clips, it's just too much work..

What do you mean by x clips? The only way I know how to do it is by re-encoding the video with an editor like Cyberlink Power Director...

I mean "x" like in maths, maybe a hundred clips, I don't know exactly
