Software to continuously record the computer screen?

Hello. I was wondering if there was any software (or hardware) out there that would allow me to continuously record my computer screen for like 7-8 hours without using all my memory. Does anyone have any suggestions?

A video game. It's ok if it's not very could quality. I'd like to use it for testing purposes so it would record my every move.
