Software to create web site

Hello, I’d like to design a website that looks somewhat similar (or at least as professional) to [link removed by moderator]. I was hoping you guys could give me some advice on what software I would need to do this. I have no experience with web site design. I’m looking for software that would make it as easy as possible for someone like me that has no clue what they’re doing when it comes to web design, to create a website. In fact, if there is software out their that could give me a ready made template of a web site with just some basic things that I could customize, that would be great. Then I figure all I would have to do is upload pictures and product information to the site. I’m willing to pay some decent money for software if it can make the process of creating a professional looking site easy.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Try DreamWeaver Or FrontPage. Dont use frontpage for php because it wont help you if you mistype a code. I Would Use Is DreamWeaver.

Thanks CCPS. I've never tried dreamweaver but I have frontpage on my computer and to be honest it seems pretty hard to create a detailed site with(I guess that shows how much i suck at computers). Are you familiar with Shopsite? I've heard about the program but have never tried it myself.

Question for mods: am I allowed to post the address to the site if I don't make it a link. that way people can see what type of site I'm trying to make.

given that this was your first post i thought it may be a bit of elaborate spam :D
we've had cases of this before. We dont need to see the site to be able to give you advice. Dreamweaver if the best option, but no option will be totally easy. You need to buy a book and read how to do it :)

Thanks guys. Does dreamweaver allow you to create a shopping cart system on your site, or does that require additional software?

What do you guys think of electronic storefront software?
