when logging onto World of warcraft.. i got a warning already not to download user interface mods,. since some could contain, software to recork the username and passwork, and that way, accounts were stolen.
(i didnt name the program, since i dont want to make anyones search for it easyer)
There is a software. It is called family key logger. Has anyone heard of it? You install it on your computer and it records others passwords and usernames I think.

umm... depends... my McAfee logs it as a XP-crack and deletes it... thank god... one of my coworkers wanted my passwords... they used one on me... the one that he/she had, as i found out, (i experimented with it after i found it on my computer) just logs all the keystrokes... it logs everything... spaces, letters, numbers, deletitions, returns, etc... it's a jumbled up mess if you ask me, plus it could be millions of keystrokes long... so unless you know exactly what you are looking for, it seems like a waste of time... unless they have something that you would die for...
