my earlier post was about random computer crashes
this post however is about the solution i've found
what i find might work for me but not for you so test it and find out
i have a lucent modem
and for those of you who understand the pain of dial-up knows that when u dial, your computer kinda skip like your cd
i realated this to the same symptoms when the computer freezes
the onli different is wen you're dialing to get online, the computer "skip" about twice before it dial
but wen the computer freeze, the "skip" doesn't go away
so i took out the modem just to be safe
and so far, it has crash/freeze yet
