This is my first time building a computer and i was hoping someone could look at my parts list and verify its compatibility as well as its quality. Any suggestions are appreciated.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Dual Core Processor
Hitachi Deskstar 7K80 80GB SATA Hard Drive
Corsair 1GB (2x512mb) PC3200 DDR DIMM Memory
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe Motherboard
Sapphire RADEON X1600 PRO 512MB DDR3 PCI-Express TVO/DVI
Ultra Wizard ULT31742 ATX Mid Tower
LG GSA-4167BK 16X Dual Layer DVD±RW Drive
Vortec 600Watt ATX / BTX Power Supply
(of course I have mouse/keyboard/monitor as well, but those are easy)

Thanks in advance for the help.

Try a 500 Watt PSU, that should be more than enough, also, you might want to look into getting 1 GB sticks of RAM, incase you ever want to upgrade, its always easier to work with those. Plus you can get a lot more RAM then too.

thanks

I appreciate the help. Just one more question though: The graphics card seems great. Why am I able to buy it for $170 (www.allstarshop.com). I know its not top of the line, but it seems like it should cost a little more. Or am I mistaken about the quality?
