SOME DVDs not working

Hi guys,

I recently bought Dawn Of War Gold Edition and when I tried it on my DVD-ROM, it didn't read the disk.

Strangely, though some other DVDs (Company Of Heroes) didn't work either, but others do! (Sims 2)

Please help, I suspect the problem is with the DVD drive, not the DVDs themselves.

well why not take your DVD's that does not work and try them somewhere else ?
Some devices are pricky with certain types of discs.

Like said try them in another drive. If they work you probable have a dirty lens/try a lens cleaner disk or the drive is fading away to a higher place.
