Some help would be appreciated

I just ordered a new graphics card for my computer, an "Asus ATI 9250/TD" (as it was the "best" one within my humble budget) and was kind of hoping someone could just, sort of, guide me through how I am supposed to install it... Yeah... Anyways, here are my specs: Celeron 2.4 Ghz, 256 MB RAM, and an integrated (Ew, I know) graphics card.

I will be getting the card on Wednesday, I think, so I'd appreciate some help? Puh-lease!? ;-;

are you sure you have the graphics port for the card? sounds like you have a dell or gateway copmuter.
1. turn on computer and uninstall the graphics card form devicemanager from the control pannel.
2. turn off computer.
3. put new card in compter.
4. change jumpers or BIOS to turn off intigrated video
5. stick in the CD and click on install

read the manual first. it will tell you how to install it.

I'm pretty sure I got the card with the right port (AGP?). I've got a Dell, yes, but I've been poking at it, adding and removing hardware.. o.o; This is my first time changing a graphics card though, so I'm kind of nervous. <.>

Thanks for the information too!

if you've changed any pci devices in your system you shouldn't find it to be any problem at all, just remember to make sure that the catch at the back of the agp slot is in place.
