Some phone questions

Somebody i know wants to switch carriers and already has a phone. He has us cellular, and a galaxy s3. What i find odd, is that the us cellulaur galaxy s1 is with no sim, but the s3 has a us cellulaur sim card that says 4g lte, will the us cellular s3 work with straight talk?

Unlikely to work, unless it is an unlocked phone.

You also need to make sure that both carriers are the same. They will either be CDMA or GSM. You can not use a CDMA carrier phone on a GSM network, and vice versa.

Straight talk? Nope. Unless you buy a phone from them, it's not going to. I've tried using a friends before and when they ask for a model number and such and they'll tell you that's not one of their phones.

On the site it says "Use virtually any compatible or unlocked GSM phone with our Straight Talk SIM to get service on the best nationwide networks." and Wolfe, that is what I was asking, is the s3 for us cellular GSM or CDMA?
