Hey guys I need some answers to some questions.

Firstly what does ping mean?

Secondly on my laptop it has a sticker saying " intel centrino inside" but when I go to control panel, view computer details it says I have a intel core 2 duo. How can it have 2 processors?

ping is a command line utility you can use to verify a network connection to another pc.

intel centrino inside refers to the platform of the laptop. Mostly it's about the motherboards northbridge and not the cpu. It's just a combination of a couple of technologies they call "intel centrino"
